Shortbread
Ingredients;
100g Plain flour
50g Semolina
50g Castor sugar
100g Butter
1. Mix together plain flour, semolina and sugar.
2. Rub in butter until the mixture binds together.
3. Divide the mixture in half and shape into a round, 1cm thick.
4. Place on a baking tray and prick with a fork.
5. Bake at 160c/gas mark 4 for 30 - 40 mins. Cut into 8 wedges while still warm.
Chocolate Rocks.
Ingredients;
4 Tablespoons of Golden syrup
25g Margarine
125g Chocolate
125g Fruit and Fibre cereal
1. Place the golden syrup, margarine and chocolate in a pan and stir over a low heat until melted.
2. Place the cereal into a bowl add the mixture from the pan and mix well.
3. Spoon into paper cases and leave to set.
Strawberry and Banana Smoothy
Ingredients;
200g Fresh Strawberries
1 medium banana
1 tbls Honey
100g Natural Yoghurt
400ml Milk
1. Hull the strawberries and slice the banana.
2. put all the ingredients into a liquidiser and blend for about 25 secs.
3. Taste and serve.
